Today I went to Ackermans in Bayside - Cape Town - with my girlfriend, she wanted to buy some pajamas........While she was in the dressing room I sat outside on one of those chairs used when people try on the shoes. As I was sitting there I noticed one of the ladies was sweeping the carpets. THAT is when I noticed how dirty the floors really are! There was shoes and lots of other stuff laying all around on the floor. THEN while watching the lady sweeping the carpets I noticed a half alive cockroach!! SHE also saw it and stepped on it and then just continued to sweep like she see them ALL the time there. I asked her wont it be easier to use a vacuum........she replied and said........"The vacuum cleaner is BROKEN"........so it must have been broken for a long time by the state of the floors! Now what I want to know is.......where is the manager or the owner and why are they not keeping the store clean???!?!!?!?
